Job summary

Pecko (M) Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to review NPI and MP parts processes, implement improvements, and prepare FA submissions for customers.

The role involves coordinating with PKS & PEI on technical matters, setting up test systems and assembly line tooling, and establishing MAI and process control procedures to ensure quality. You will drive SPC programs, align with MRP and JIT plans, and maximize line efficiency through automation and on-the-job training while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering for assembly lines.
• Ability to prepare FA submissions and liaise with technical teams.
• Knowledge of SPC, MAI, MRP and JIT practices.

Responsibilities

Job description

Prepare FA submission for customer and identify requirements for mass production

To liaise with PKS & PEI on technical related matters and communicate with customers on requirements.

Implementing test system for assembly lines.

Setting up test equipment, both hardware and software for product that requires testing.

Set up assembly line tooling and equipment / fixture required to produce sub - assembly part.

Establish assembly method, process control procedure and Manufacturing Assembly Instruction (MAI).

Carry out non-conforming parts evaluation and pilot run to ascertain the product's functionality and optimization of the process.

Plan and co-ordinate statistical process control program and product verification test.

Update and maintain Process Flow Chart and MAI.

Maximize the line efficiency by introducing new system / automation / on-the job training /experiment / advance Manufacturing Engineering.

Enhance the reliability and manufacturing of the process and product quality.

Review and improve current process and method in line with MRP and JIT plans so as to achieve company goals and objectives.

Ensure that Inventory on tools & machineries are always available.
