Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, productivity, and yield.

Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.

Monitor process performance through statistical analysis and process capability studies.

Establish and maintain process parameters and operating standards.

Support process qualification and validation activities for new or modified manufacturing processes.

Process Development & Optimization
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, productivity, and yield.

  • Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.

  • Monitor process performance through statistical analysis and process capability studies.

  • Establish and maintain process parameters and operating standards.

  • Support process qualification and validation activities for new or modified manufacturing processes.

Production Support
  • Provide daily engineering support to production operations.

  • Investigate process-related issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing problems to minimize production downtime.

  • Support production in achieving output, quality, and delivery targets.

Yield & Quality Improvement
  • Analyze process yield, defect trends, and manufacturing data.

  • Perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies such as:

    • 8D

    • Fishbone Diagram

    • 5 Why Analysis

    • FMEA

    • SPC

  • Implement improvement actions to reduce process variation and defects.

  • Work closely with Quality Engineering to ensure product compliance with customer specifications.

New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Support new product transfers and process development.

  • Participate in Design Verification (DV), Process Validation (PV), and engineering builds.

  • Coordinate process readiness before mass production.

  • Prepare process documentation for new product implementation.

Documentation & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain:

    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

    • Work Instructions (WI)

    • Process Flow Charts

    • Control Plans

    • PFMEA

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • ISO 9001

    • IATF 16949 (if applicable)

    • ISO 14001

    • ISO 45001

    • ESD requirements

    • Customer requirements

    • Company policies and procedures.

Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.

  • Drive cost reduction, waste elimination, cycle time reduction, and productivity improvement projects.

  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with:

    • Production

    • Quality Assurance

    • Manufacturing Engineering

    • Equipment Engineering

    • NPI Team

    • Supply Chain

    • Planning

    • Maintenance

  • Support customer audits and internal quality audits.

Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare engineering reports and process performance analysis.

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as:

    • Yield

    • Scrap Rate

    • Process Capability (Cp/Cpk)

    • OEE

    • Cycle Time

    • Downtime

  • Present improvement plans and technical findings to management.
