Job summary

PNE Industries in Malaysia is seeking a skilled engineer to lead machine set-up, audit and maintenance activities across production lines. You will change models per planning, optimize programs for balanced cycle times, respond to breakdowns promptly, and monitor machine performance.

Qualifications

To perform various machine set-up and changes as requested by production.
Audit, trouble shoot and maintenance of all equipment.
Monitor machine performance during operation and ensure safety compliance.
Process optimization to achieve balanced cycle time; attend breakdowns and switch models as planned.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and high quality products.
Documentation and maintenance of manufacturing process specifications and quality control procedures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support to production teams.
Maintain data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
Establish and maintain quality control standards and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

To carry out job as instructed by senior engineer (Section Supervisor).
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including design, engineering, quality, and supply chain, to achieve production goals and deliver high quality product.
Documentation, Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of manufacturing process, equipment specifications, and quality control procedures.
Process Optimization, Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Continuous Improvement, Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, developing action plans, and implementing changes to enhance production processes.
Technical Support, Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot issues, and develop solution to address production challenges.
Safety Compliance, Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with safety standards requirements.
Training and Monitoring, Train and mentor junior staff helping them develop their skills and improve their Productivity.
Data Analysis, Analyze production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation. Use statistical analysis tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
Quality Control, Establish and maintain quality control standards, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
To achieve PCBA objectives such as downtime, conversion time and quality.
