Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a technically skilled professional for Intelligence, technology development and process improvement. You will conduct research, participate in exchanges, and drive new process and technology projects for battery-related products.

The role covers trial planning, data analysis, and technical support during development and trial production, with ongoing training and standards updates. Strong collaboration and continuous learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrochemistry, Applied Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Materials Science or related field.
• 2+ years of factory/work experience.
• Strong innovation, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience in DOE.
• Familiar with project management processes.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and FMEA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Technical Intelligence & Technology Development

• Conduct technical research and intelligence gathering based on business needs and current technology trends.
• Participate in industry technical exchanges and keep updated on the latest technologies and developments.

Process Development & Trial Projects

• Conduct process improvement, cost reduction and new process/new technology development projects.
• Develop project proposals and implementation plans for process development projects.
• Issue trial requests, monitor trial activities and ensure proper process control.
• Conduct teardown analysis of trial batteries and collect, organize and analyze trial data.
• Prepare trial summary reports and organize trial reviews and evaluations.

Technical Support for Product Development

• Assist in product development planning and technical reviews by providing process and technical support.
• Track new product development activities, including sample and trial battery preparation, to ensure proper process control.
• Provide technical support during product development and trial production.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in technical training and continuous learning activities.
• Develop, maintain and update standards for raw and auxiliary materials.
• Participate in teardown analysis and benchmarking of competitors’ batteries.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above; in Electrochemistry, Applied Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field are preferred.
• More than 2years of factorywork experience
• Strong innovation, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience in Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Familiar with project management processes.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and FMEA is preferred.
