Job summary

AEX System Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a self-driven Pro Audio Sales Engineer in Malaysia to grow our Pro Sound business and manage client engagements. The role focuses on sales, consultancy and technical support across sound reinforcement, AV and distribution systems.

You will conduct presentations, train stakeholders and drive deals from inquiry to award, coordinating with design and costing teams. A valid driving license and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Audio Engineering or related.
• Strong interest in sales, client interaction and business development.
• Knowledge of professional audio, sound reinforcement and AV systems.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese an added advantage.

Job description

We are looking for a self-driven and technically inclined Pro Audio Sales Engineer to develop our Professional Audio (Pro Sound) business.

This role focuses on sales, client engagement, and solution consultancy for professional sound systems including Sound Reinforcement, Audio Visual and Audio Distribution solutions.

Responsibilities

Expand company’s Pro Audio Dealership network

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support

Support industry stakeholders i.e. consultants, system integrators, contractors and end-users

Conduct technical presentations and trainings

Drive the sales process from inquiry to project award

Coordinate with internal teams on system design, costing, and implementation

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Audio Engineering, or other related disciplines.

Strong interest in sales, client interaction, and business development

Knowledge on Professional Audio / Sound Reinforcement / Audio Visual systems is essential (e.g., speakers, amplifiers, DSP, mixers, signal flow, etc.)

Able to operate in AutoCAD and EASE is an added advantage

Client network on the Pro Audio and Audio Visual Industry is an advantage

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken; proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.

Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Strong problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

Must possess a valid driving license, own transport, and be willing to travel.
