Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a seasoned executive to lead its Priority Banking Centre. You will strategically plan and execute initiatives to grow AUM and revenue, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role demands extensive experience in wealth management, strong leadership, and ability to drive cross‑segment collaboration with branches and RMs to achieve KRAs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance.
• Possess relevant certification and licenses in Investment and Bancassurance.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a financial institution.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in managing HNW banking and wealth management sales.
• Excellent commercial acumen, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership to lead a large diverse team and foster strong teamwork within Priority Banking Centre.
• Able to make independent decisions with minimal supervision.
• Highly motivated and result-driven.
• Develop young talent for wealth management front-line.

Responsabilités

• Strategically plan and execute Priority Banking initiatives to grow AUM and I& I Rev.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the Priority Banking Centre to ensure efficiency and profit.
• Implement sales & marketing strategies and set team goals and direction to achieve targets.
• Engage in regular joint sales calls and visits with RMs to existing customers and prospects.
• Foster teamwork and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure AML, regulatory and sales compliance for the PBC.
• Hire the right people to build a strong PBC team and plan recruitment and development.
• Collaborate with other segments to solicit high-net-worth referrals and opportunities.
• Lead RMs’ sales activities to meet KRAs and revenue targets.
