Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a senior Priority Banking leader to strategically plan, build and drive growth for our Priority Banking Center in Malaysia. You will oversee PBC operations, align sales and marketing initiatives, and nurture a high-performing team focused on high net-worth clients and wealth management growth.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with other segments to maximize revenue while delivering exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or related field.
• Possess relevant certification and licenses in Investment and Bancassurance.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a financial institution.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in managing HNW banking and wealth management sales.
• Excellent commercial acumen, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills - able to lead a large diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, organize and execute Priority Banking initiatives to grow AUM and I&I Rev for the Priority Banking Center.
• Manage day-to-day PBC operations to ensure efficiency and profitability with sales & marketing strategies.
• Develop sales plans by evaluating resources, market data and sales force capability.
• Create service models with people and processes for strong local community presence.
• Engage customers and prospects with RMs through joint calls and visits.
• Foster teamwork and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure AML, SC guidelines and general compliance of PBC policies.
• Hire and build a capable PBC team.
