Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a seasoned Priority Banking Centre (PBC) leader in Kuala Lumpur to drive AUM growth and I&I revenue. You will strategize initiatives, guide a large RM team, and ensure top-tier client experience while upholding AML and regulatory standards.

The role requires a decade in financial services, with 3–5 years managing high-net-worth wealth sales, and a proven ability to develop talent and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or related field.
• Possess relevant certifications and licenses in Investment and Bancassurance.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a financial institution.
• At least 3–5 years of managing HNW banking and wealth management sales.
• Excellent commercial acumen, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan, lead, organize and execute Priority Banking initiatives to grow AUM and I&I revenue for the Priority Banking Center (PBC).
• Oversee day-to-day management of the PBC to ensure efficiency and profitability by implementing sales & marketing strategies, and setting team goals.
• Devise structured sales plans by analyzing resources, market information and sales force capability.
• Develop service models with people capability and process efficiency to strengthen PBC presence.
• Engage existing customers and prospects through joint calls and visits with RMs.
• Lead and mentor Relationship Managers to meet revenue targets and KRAs.
• Ensure AML, SC Guidelines and other regulatory compliance are strictly followed.
• Plan and implement customer acquisition, referral and upgrading strategies for growth.
• Collaborate with other segments and channels to solicit high-net-worth referrals.
• Audit and compliance responsibility for PBC in line with internal policies.
