Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Cake & Dessert Pastry Chef to create premium cakes, desserts and plated sweets to the highest standards. You will develop and refresh dessert menus that wow our guests.

Lead central kitchen operations, manage ingredients and equipment, and uphold food safety and kitchen standards. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required, Mandarin is a bonus; rotation shifts and Cheras Permaisuri location.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in cakes, desserts and plated sweet dishes.
• SPM or equivalent; any formal pastry or baking certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce premium cakes, desserts and plated sweets to the highest standards.
• Develop and innovate new dessert menus that wow our guests.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation and taste in every creation.
• Manage central kitchen operations, ingredients and equipment efficiently.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards at all times.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team and management.
