Qualifications
- Proven experience operating sheet metal bending equipment such as press brakes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of bending tolerances and fabrication techniques.
- Willingness to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Operate sheet metal bending machinery safely to produce components per specs.
- Set up bending equipment, calibrate tooling and alignments.
- Inspect bent components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot issues and assist with minor repairs.
- Collaborate with production planning and QA to meet schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and document activity.
