Job summary

ASPL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated Pre-Sales & Solutions Engineer to join our Digitalization Department in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

You will work with customers to understand requirements and propose digitalization solutions across MES, OEE, CMMS, APS, RFID, and AI. Responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, delivering product demonstrations, supporting proof-of-concept activities, and coordinating with Business Development, Technical, and Project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 1-3 years in pre-sales, application engineering, technical sales, or related field preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel to customer sites as required.

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pre-Sales & Solutions Engineer at ASPL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, identifying manufacturing challenges, proposing suitable digitalization solutions, preparing technical proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting proof-of-concept (POC) activities. You will work closely with the Business Development, Technical, and Project teams to deliver solutions involving MES, OEE, CMMS, APS, Industrial IoT, RFID, and AI applications. This role also involves providing technical consultation, application support, troubleshooting, and project coordination. Travelling to customer sites and factories may be required depending on project requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in pre-sales, application engineering, technical sales, industrial automation, software implementation, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and a genuine interest in manufacturing digitalization are encouraged to apply.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial systems, or software applications.
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.
• Able to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and factory visits when required.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Exposure to any of the following will be an advantage:

• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and production monitoring.
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS).
• Industrial IoT, PLCs, SCADA, or machine connectivity.
• RFID, barcode traceability, and paperless manufacturing.
• Artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, SQL databases, APIs, or software integration.
• Technical presentations, application configuration, or POC development.
