Pre-Sales Solutions Architect – Data Center & AI

Job summary

Lenovo is actively seeking a senior pre-sales/solution architect to qualify opportunities and design comprehensive data centre solutions across servers, storage, software-defined infrastructure, and AI/GPU platforms for Malaysia-based customers. You will own technical content for proposals and participate in demos, workshops and PoCs.

You will collaborate with account managers, distributors and alliance partners to deliver complete Lenovo ISG solutions, while keeping certifications up-to-date

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in pre-sales, solution architecture or technical consulting for data centre infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of x86 servers, enterprise storage, virtualization and data centre networking.
• Experience sizing and configuring solutions and writing the technical sections of RFP responses.
• Confidence presenting to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience selling with and through channel partners.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Qualify opportunities with account managers and business partners.
• Design and size solutions across servers, storage, software-defined and AI/GPU platforms.
• Present and defend designs to customer IT teams and decision makers.
• Own the technical content of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, including configurations and BOMs.
• Run demos, workshops and proofs of concept to deliver clear results.
• Enable channel partners and distributors to position Lenovo ISG solutions.
• Collaborate with alliance partners (NVIDIA, Nutanix, VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat) to build complete solutions.
• Incorporate customer and competitor feedback to regional teams and product groups.
• Maintain current certifications including NVIDIA AI curriculum.
