Job summary

Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned System Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead design and architecture for data center solutions. You will tailor proposals, develop BOMs, and deliver compelling technical demonstrations for clients in Malaysia.

You will mentor internal teams and run POCs, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and technical feasibility, with strong engagement across product, sales, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in data center infrastructure solutions design/implementation.
• Hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell/HPE/Lenovo) and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and architecture for system infrastructure technologies and solutions.
• Identify customer requirements in system infrastructure including virtualization, hardware, data backup.
• Create tailored solutions and BOMs for bids or projects with topology diagrams.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and solution workshops to diverse audiences.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and build stakeholder relationships.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead POCs and technical evaluations to validate architectures in client environments.
• Provide technical training and enablement to internal sales teams.
