Job summary

LinkAxia Networks in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Enterprise & Campus Networking to lead technical pre-sales engagements and design robust network architectures for enterprise and campus environments.

You will translate requirements into technical/commercial proposals, lead RFI/RFP responses, and coordinate PoC activities to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with modern cybersecurity and connectivity needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Enterprise Networking, Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, or ICT solutions.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or network consultancy role.
• Proven experience designing and positioning enterprise networking solutions for medium to large organisations.
• Hands-on with enterprise LAN, WLAN, network management, and network security technologies.
• Experience supporting the full sales lifecycle, including PoC, proposals, and technical presentations.
• Experience preparing technical responses for RFI, RFP, RFQ, and competitive tender submissions.

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Enterprise & Campus Networking to lead technical pre-sales engagements, design robust network architectures, and provide technical leadership throughout the sales lifecycle to enable digital transformation and modern connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures for enterprise and campus environments.

• Lead technical responses for RFI, RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions, including compliance documentation and solution mapping.
• Manage proof-of-concept (PoC) activities, including defining objectives, coordinating technical execution, and delivering outcome reports.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, distributors, system integrators, and implementation teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with enterprise customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Support commercial teams with solution sizing, effort estimation, and technical presentations.

Requirements

Must-have

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Networking, Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, or ICT solutions.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or network consultancy role.
• Proven experience designing and positioning enterprise networking solutions for medium to large commercial organisations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise LAN, WLAN, network management, and network security technologies.
• Experience supporting the complete sales lifecycle, including customer discovery, solution design, proof-of-concept (PoC), proposal development, and technical presentations.
• Experience preparing technical responses for RFI, RFP, RFQ, and competitive tender submissions.
• Strong knowledge of Fabric LAN architecture, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design, high availability and resiliency, and multicast networking.
• Experience with enterprise wireless networking, including Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, RF planning and optimisation, wireless site surveys, controller-based and cloud-managed wireless, high-density deployments, and secure wireless authentication (802.1X, WPA3).
• Strong understanding of data centre networking, including spine-leaf architectures, EVPN-VXLAN, network virtualisation, high-speed Ethernet (10/25/40/100GbE), and data centre interconnect.
• Familiarity with network operational automation principles, including AI-assisted network operations (AIOps), zero-touch provisioning, infrastructure APIs, telemetry and analytics, and policy-driven network management.
• Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders, including IT Managers, Infrastructure Managers, and Solution Architects.

Nice-to-have

• Relevant professional certifications in enterprise networking (e.g., Cisco CCNP Enterprise or above, Juniper JNCIP-ENT or above, Extreme Certified Professional (ECP) or above, Certified Wireless Network Administrator, Certified Wireless Security Professional, Certified Wireless Design Professional).
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Python scripting, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud networking services).
• Experience with network monitoring and analytics platforms such as SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, or Juniper Mist.
