Job summary

Crest Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support pre- and post-contract activities for high-rise and mixed development projects in Malaysia. You will engage in tendering, measurement, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities, while coordinating with architects and external QS teams to ensure accurate budgeting and procurement.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, 2 years' experience or fresh graduates with strong communication and analytical skills, and

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
2 years of working experience in high-rise commercial building and mixed development projects.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Good communication, negotiation, planning and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Pre-contract works - estimating and tendering, calling quotations, measurement, taking-off, cost estimation, and BQ preparation for design-and-build projects.
Post-contracts work - material budgeting, cost estimation, as-built site measurement and quantity taking-off, invitation of quotations, negotiation, sub-contractor awards, procurement, progress claims and final accounts.
Assist in feasibility studies and estimating to define project budget prior to construction.
Collaborate with architects, external QS, contracts and project teams.
Evaluate claims for progress payment and additional works or final accounts.
Provide support in estimation of new project costs, specifications, BQ and tender requirements.
