Job summary

Nexperia Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer to sustain and improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance in the pre-assembly production environment. You will drive yield sustenance, monitor process performance, and lead improvement projects across Manufacturing and Equipment teams.

You will support NPI activities, coordinate process changes, and perform root cause analysis for excursions and customer complaints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor assembly/pre-assembly processes and process control.
• Experience with yield improvement, process troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and statistical analysis tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
• Drive yield sustenance and continuous yield improvement initiatives.
• Monitor process performance and manage lot holds/disposition for smooth production flow.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Equipment teams to resolve process and equipment issues.
• Support NPIs, including product qualification, validation, and ramp-up.
• Coordinate process changes and qualification activities for new products.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process excursions and customer complaints.
• Analyze process data and recommend manufacturing performance improvements.
