Job summary

Eramas Ingredients Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan seeks a proactive PPIC Assistant Manager to oversee production planning, material availability, inventory control and warehouse coordination in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will support the PPIC Manager, monitor stock levels, implement FIFO/FEFO, analyze reports, lead the PPIC team, and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, supply chain or warehouse operations.
• Experience in food manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of MRP, FIFO/FEFO, and warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to supervise or lead a team is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production planning and scheduling.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, QA/QC, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
• Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices and accurate inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels, variances, ageing, slow-moving and excess inventory.
• Coordinate material availability and identify potential shortages or supply risks.
• Review and analyse PPIC reports and provide recommendations to Management.
• Supervise and guide the PPIC team to ensure effective daily operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The role will support the PPIC Manager in ensuring smooth production operations, optimum inventory levels, and timely material availability.

Job Responsibilities

Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production planning and scheduling.

Monitor production progress and adjust plans based on demand, capacity, and material availability.

Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, QA/QC, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse operations.

Experience in food manufacturing is an added advantage.

Experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred.

Good knowledge of production planning, MRP, inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, and warehouse operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
