Job summary

CPI (Penang) Sdn. Bhd., based in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking a Material Planner to ensure timely production loading and accurate sourcing.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers to meet customer delivery dates and maintaining stock accuracy for both raw materials and components. You should have at least SPM or higher, with preference for EMS environment, plus strong negotiation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates with at least an SPM qualification or above, preferably in EMS.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning schedules for production loading prior to customer delivery dates.
• Monitor raw materials and component availability.
• Plan and purchase for customer requirements; follow up with vendors and customers.
• Monitor stock control, analysis and non-moving stock.
• Monitor WIP and RM flow and stock accuracy.
• Oversee in-store management for receiving, issuing, storage and traceability.
• Sourcing of direct/indirect materials and meeting delivery schedules.
• Handle related matters to material planning and purchasing.

Job description

Responsible for the proper and accurate planning of schedules for production loading prior to customer delivery dates.

Monitor / follow up the raw materials and component available.

Plan and purchase for Customer Requirements. Vendors & Customers follow up.

Monitor stock control, analysis and control non-moving stock.

Monitor WIP And Raw Material flow & stock accuracy.

Monitor In-Store Management for Receiving, Issuing, Storage And Transaction Traceability through system.

Sourcing of direct / indirect materials and meeting delivery schedules.

Handle any related matters to Material Planning and Purchase.

Job Requirements:-

Candidates with at least an SPM qualification or above. Preferable in Electronic Manufacturing (EMS) environment.

Posses Strong Negotiation and Interpersonal Skills, Team Player, Problem Solver and capable in executing the Material Planning, Procurement and Sourcing activities.

Computer Literate, Good Knowledge of MS Office Operation , Excel and Outlook.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

These include the latest Injection Moulding Machines, which is the "UH 1000 Series" of Super Precision Ultra High Speed & Pressure Injection Moulding Systems (for Super - Thin Wall & Long Flow precision parts) which having the following features: 10 times injection speed than the ordinary machine. Build in "SPC" control on moulding conditions. Our EMS division for box build operations is also poised for growth. As of today, CPI has produced over 1000 items of different products for various industries such as Telecommunication, Computer, Electrical and Electronics, Automotive, Leisure Marine Industry and also other Industrial plastics parts, that caters for local and as well as export market such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Italy, Japan, China, Taiwan and Indonesia.
