Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Production Planning professional to lead master planning, MRP readiness and ERP control in a manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production to ensure on-time materials, schedules, and KPI reporting, while developing the PPC team and driving continuous improvement. Diploma in relevant field and minimum 5 years' supervision experience required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Production Planning, Operations, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in production planning or manufacturing operations with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of PPC, MRP/MPS, capacity planning and scheduling.
• Understanding of BOMs, routings, lead times and inventory planning.
• Analytical, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and master data controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead Master Production Planning & Scheduling based on demand and capacity.
• Review MRP requirements and address material shortages and timing gaps.
• Coordinate readiness with Engineering, Production, Procurement and Warehouse.
• Create and maintain production orders and planning data in the ERP system.
• Monitor progress, identify delays or bottlenecks and escalate as needed.
• Provide planning analysis and KPI reports for management decisions.
• Improve PPC processes, ERP usage, and planning controls.
• Coach and develop PPC team; ensure cross-functional hand-offs.
