Job summary

VELLD Power System Consult Sdn Bhd is seeking a junior Electrical Engineer to support power system studies and site data gathering. You will compile inputs, develop models in ETAP/DIgSILENT, run simulations for DER projects and assist with protection coordination and engineering calculations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 1–2 years’ PCS experience, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fresh graduates are welcome with training provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Eng or Electrical & Electronics with CGPA ≥3.3.
1–2 years PCS experience using ETAP/DIgSILENT software.
Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & oral).
MS Office proficiency; training for other software.

Responsibilities

Perform power system studies, load flows, and fault level analyses.
Compile inputs, tabulate data, and support model development.
Conduct site visits to verify installations and collect data.
Prepare reports, calculations, and technical responses for authorities.
