Ingersoll Rand in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager for Power Generation to drive profitable growth by selling a full suite of solutions, including capital equipment such as diesel generators, chillers, CDU and digital/energy solutions.

The role focuses on developing long-term customer partnerships, expanding installed base value, and maximizing lifecycle revenue through consultative selling and value-based solutions while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years in business development or high-value, complex sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel within Malaysia and hold a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

Drive sales of complete power generation solutions and related equipment.
Identify new business opportunities within existing and new customers.
Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations.
Manage sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and meet/exceed targets.
Collaborate with service, engineering, and applications teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Promote aftermarket services such as maintenance contracts and parts.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract management.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Participate in industry events and customer engagement activities.
