Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas is seeking an Assistant Manager – Development & Studies to support planning, assessment, development and implementation of strategic port development initiatives and feasibility studies.

You will work with Senior Manager and Project Managers to translate development requirements into structured projects, manage the lifecycle, and ensure safety, cost, schedule, scope and regulatory compliance across diverse programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Project Management or another relevant technical discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field would be an added advantage.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent recognized Project Management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, assessment, development and implementation of port development initiatives.
• Evaluate feasibility studies and translate requirements into executable projects.
• Manage projects from initiation through closure under PID's Project Implementation Framework.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for project delivery.
• Ensure safety, cost, schedule, quality and regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycle.
