Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) is seeking an experienced General Manager – Project Management to lead planning, execution and the successful delivery of major infrastructure, port equipment and technology projects.

The role focuses on driving automation initiatives, OT integration, and effective governance across a diverse project portfolio, while leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safety, schedule, budget and high-quality handovers to operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in industrial or infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience managing projects valued RM100 million and above.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee major infrastructure, port equipment and technology-related projects from initiation through commissioning and handover.
• Establish project governance, control mechanisms and reporting across a project portfolio.
• Manage budgets, contracts, procurement, variations and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate automation initiatives and OT integration with port operations and stakeholders.
• Develop and coach senior project teams and ensure HSSE standards are met.
