Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a friendly Retail Sales Assistant for a 6-month pop-up in Selangor. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist with sales, and keep stock organized with accurate inventory records in a fast-paced environment.

The role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and involves a mix of customer-facing duties and stock management, with weekend/holiday shifts as required. Training will be provided by the supervisor to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or inventory handling is an advantage.
• Friendly, approachable manner with customers.
• Detail-oriented and organized when handling stock.
• Basic computer skills; familiar with POS systems or spreadsheets.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations.
• Assist with sales transactions, payments, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure products are displayed, organized, and replenished.
• Receive, check, label, and arrange incoming stock.
• Monitor stock levels and update inventory records accurately.
• Perform regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Assist with stock transfers, packing, and product preparation as needed.
• Maintain store and stockroom cleanliness and organization.
• Support promotional activities and daily pop-up store operations.
• Work closely with the Supervisor to ensure smooth store operations.
