Job summary

Bank Negara Malaysia is seeking a Government Liaison professional to advocate for policy objectives with public officials and stakeholders. The role focuses on advisory and surveillance to support strategic decisions.

You will coordinate parliamentary engagements, prepare briefing materials, and act as the Relationship Manager for internal departments within the Strategic Communications Department, driving public engagement for key policy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance or policy-related area.
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support Government Liaison Management on stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Coordinate briefings, materials, and logistics for engagements.
• Draft parliamentary responses and facilitate parliamentary briefings.
• Support internal client management as Relationship Manager for line departments.
• Assist in public engagement campaigns for key policy initiatives.
