The role requires strong networks with ministries and regulators, excellent written and verbal communication, and a track record in public policy or corporate affairs within Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Communications, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Government Affairs or stakeholder engagement experience.
• Strong network with government ministries and industry bodies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of Malaysia governance and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute government affairs strategies to support business objectives.
• Engage with ministries, agencies, regulators, and industry bodies to build relationships.
• Monitor political, regulatory, and public policy developments and provide timely updates to leadership.
• Prepare position papers, policy briefs, presentations, and engagement materials for senior officials.
• Coordinate strategic engagements, industry forums, roundtables, and official visits.
