Job summary

Confidential Company in Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineering & Coordinator to provide coordination, administrative and project management support for downstream projects.

You will assist the Manager, Project Coordination and project teams in planning, monitoring, documentation, reporting, and site coordination activities to ensure projects are executed effectively and in accordance with established requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil).
• Approximately 2 years of relevant project engineering/coordination experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of scheduling and reporting.
• Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skills; strong organizational ability.
• Willing to travel for site visits and handle ad-hoc project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute MOMs and monthly reports in a timely manner.
• Provide project management support for planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Ensure project documents and reports are issued within required timelines.
• Support Head of Project Coordination in preparing documents for decision-making.
• Assist in implementing the Project Execution Plan and day-to-day coordination.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, HSE, operations and other disciplines.
