Job summary

Hongrita Precision Component (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth in Malaysia. You will handle RFQ packages, coordinate with our China team for new projects, and perform market research to identify selling opportunities.

You will actively seek new sales through cold calling, networking, and social media. You will set up meetings, present our products, and prepare reviews with sales and financial data.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or relevant role.
Fluent in Chinese, English and Malay; strong communication skills.
Experience with CAD tools and interpreting drawings.
Knowledge of DFM and tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle RFQ packages (3D data, 2D drawings, material specs, processes).
Communicate with China team for new project kick-offs.
Identify market opportunities and customer needs.
Generate leads via cold calling, networking, and social media.
Set up meetings and listen to client needs.
Deliver presentations on products/services and provide regular reports.
Represent the company at exhibitions/conferences.
Assist Business Manager in negotiating/closing deals and handling complaints.
Collaborate with team to improve results and share customer feedback.
