Job summary

PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd – Lumut, Perak is seeking an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operator. The role requires a Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering and hands-on experience with ETP or wastewater systems.

You will monitor process parameters, handle chemical dosing, perform equipment checks and troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Shift work including weekends and overtime may be required, and teamwork and strong problem-solving are

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental engineering or related field.
• Preferably with experience in palm oil processing, food manufacturing, wastewater treatment or similar environments.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience operating ETP or wastewater treatment systems.
• Familiar with plant operation, process monitoring, chemical dosing, equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Able to monitor ETP parameters and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Able to work in shift rotation, weekends and overtime when required.
• Good problem-solving skills, with strong sense of responsibility and discipline.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operator – Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
