Job summary

Delloyd Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking an experienced Plant Process Engineer/Snr Engineer to own production equipment, testers, jigs and process reliability.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, repair, modification and fabrication, not just supplier coordination. You will maintain and troubleshoot testers, jigs, fixtures and heat staking machines; diagnose electrical, mechanical and pneumatic issues; design and fabricate fixtures to support production; improve cycle time

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Proven experience with testers, jigs, fixtures or special-purpose machines.
• Able to read electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Hands-on fabrication capability is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, sensors and automation controls is an advantage.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production testers, jigs, fixtures and heat staking machines.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems.
• Design, fabricate and modify testers, jigs and fixtures to support production requirements.
• Troubleshoot sensors, cylinders, solenoid valves, motors, relays, switches and control systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on repeated machine/equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
• Improve cycle time, equipment reliability, productivity and process capability.
• Support new equipment installation, machine modification, trials and commissioning.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure critical equipment is production-ready.
• Work closely with Production and Quality to resolve process and equipment issues.

About you
