Job summary

TKS CAPITAL HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. is seeking a hands-on PLC & Automation Engineer to develop and commission custom machinery. The role covers the full lifecycle: program, install, test, debug, commission, and get the machine running on-site.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering and practical PLC automation knowledge. Travel for installation/commissioning may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• PLC & HMI programming, modification and troubleshooting.

• Fine-tune machine programs and parameters to ensure machines run properly.
• Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites.

We are looking for a hands-on and passionate PLC & Automation Engineer to join our team in developing and commissioning custom-built machinery. Someone who can grow with us and eventually handle the complete process: PROGRAM → INSTALL → TEST → DEBUG → COMMISSION → GET THE MACHINE RUNNING

Key responsibilities

• PLC & HMI programming, modification and troubleshooting
• Machine installation, testing, debugging and commissioning
• Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, sensor, motor, pneumatic and control systems
• Fine-tune machine programs and parameters to ensure machines run properly
• Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites
• Maintain PLC/HMI programs and technical documentation

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation
• Knowledge of PLC brands such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Keyence or Allen-Bradley is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of HMI, VFD/inverter, servo, sensors and electrical control systems is an advantage
• Relevant hands-on experience in PLC programming, machine automation or industrial machinery is preferred
• Fresh graduates with strong PLC/automation knowledge are welcome to apply
• Hands-on, problem-solving attitude and willing to learn
• Willing to travel for machine installation/commissioning when required
