Job summary

A leading beverage company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the Manufacturing Operating System initiatives. The role focuses on achieving zero safety accidents, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering significant cost savings while engaging plant associates in development activities. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferring those familiar with Lean and 6Sigma methodologies. This position requires strong leadership and coaching skills, alongside an ability to drive a culture of Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering (or related field) with 6Sigma certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Proven knowledge of TPM, Lean, and 6Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops the Manufacturing Operating System - MOS.
• Delivers results through engaged leadership and coaching.
• Drives cost savings and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Acts as a linking pin with the Management Team for MOS implementation.
• Monitors key performance indicators and operates daily performance meetings.
