Job summary

TE Connectivity Operations Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to drive performance management, total rewards, and talent initiatives for the plant.

You will partner with business leaders to ensure performance excellence, market-competitive rewards, employee engagement, and workforce effectiveness. The role acts as a trusted HR advisor, leveraging data to support strategic decisions while ensuring policy and labor regulation compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting a workforce of 1,000+ employees.
• Hands-on experience in performance management, compensation & benefits, talent management, and HR business partnering.
• Experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness is preferred.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant's performance management processes, including annual reviews, goal-setting, and calibration.
• Administer salary reviews, bonus programs, and merit increases; benchmark compensation against market.
• Advise leadership on rewards strategies, job evaluation, and organizational design.
• Partner with COEs and HR Operations to deliver programs and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare and present HR analytics on turnover, productivity, and performance trends.
• Support workforce planning, succession, and talent development initiatives.
