Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, project execution, repair and troubleshooting.
• Experience in project management, costing, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage and lead a team.
• Able to interpret schematic diagrams and prepare electrical schematics.
• Independent, self-motivated and committed to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the plant facility with minimal downtime.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for facility equipment and systems.
• Set and track daily tasks, downtime and KPIs to meet daily targets.
• Supervise and manage contractors for facility works and projects.
• Assist engineering manager in mill upgrades and testing/commissioning.
• Prepare monthly reports on utilities, projects, capex and vendor evaluations.
• Analyze training needs and conduct in-house training to upgrade skills.
• Enforce safe work procedures, manage vendors, and ensure PPE compliance.
• Lead 5S housekeeping and collaborate with Safety/Quality for audits.
