Job summary

Johor Bahru Flour Mill Sdn Bhd is hiring an Engineer, Production (Mechanical/Electrical Preferred) to monitor mill performance and drive efficiency across the wheat milling process. You will supervise senior miller and mill technician, ensure plant sanitation, and verify production documentation.

Experience in production engineering and adherence to SOPs is valued. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Any bachelor's degree of engineering.
• Fresh graduate OR work experience not exceeding 3 years

Responsibilities

• Monitor mill performance and maintain optimal mill balance.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the senior miller and mill technician.
• Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plant.
• Review and verify production documentation and checklists for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and implement process efficiency improvements within the mill.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve plant operation stoppages and equipment breakdowns.
• Monitor and assess equipment condition to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures.
• Ensure production staff adheres to SOPs and safety work procedures.
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for necessary materials and services.
• Contributes to production order management and planning.
• Ensures production complies with all applicable food safety standards.
• Develop and implement plans for wheat conditioning and flour milling processes.
