Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Nilai, Malaysia is seeking a Plant Admin Coordinator (FTC 6 months) to support senior leadership with confidential administrative tasks and vendor management. You will handle front office duties, budget data, and service agreements while ensuring smooth operations for the plant.

The role involves coordinating catering, visitor logistics, and supplier relationships to keep facilities compliant and efficient.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in any field is required or preferred.
• Experience in handling administration duties including preparation of documents/letters.
• Experience in handling administration vendors and understanding service agreements.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative functions, including front office management support.
• Maintain and update documentation related to administrative vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in preparation and management of the administrative budget, including data, tracking expenditures, and reporting.
• Manage relationships with local vendors for catering, stationery, cleaning, etc.
• Oversee catering management, including menu choices and weekly quantities for events.
• Draft, manage, and monitor service agreements with vendors and service providers.
• Issue locker keys, brief new joiners on locker room policies, and manage uniform stock.
• Coordinate with plant visitor host on food and beverage needs for visitors.
• Verify passports for visitors and contractors upon entry to the plant.
