Job summary

Johnson Matthey – Kampung Baharu Nilai, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Production Operator for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is onsite in Nilai, requiring shift work and heavy lifting.

You will be part of the Production team, ensuring safe practices and adherence to defect criteria and customer specifications. Responsibilities include following supervisor instructions and potentially working across other departments as required.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting may be required on site.
• Must be able to work on shift.
• SPM qualification/holder is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices, health and safety, and housekeeping (5S) are followed at all times at site.
• Carry out production activities in line with Defect Criteria and Customer Specification.
• Follow and complete production tasks as instructed by supervisor to meet efficiency and downtime targets.
• Perform additional duties within skill and activity scope as directed by supervisor.
• Duties may be extended to other departments as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Ensure safe working practices, health and safety, environmental, housekeeping (5S) and quality procedures are adhered to at all time at site.
• 2. The Production Operator is responsible to ensure that their production activities are carried out according to Defect Criteria and meeting Customer Specification.
• 3. Ensure production activity assigned are followed and completed according to superior’s instruction thus meeting efficiency and downtime targets.
