Job summary

TBH is seeking a Consultant specialized in Planning & Scheduling to be based full-time on-site at our client’s location in Malaysia, Johor Bahru. You will work with TBH teams and client stakeholders to develop, monitor, and execute detailed schedules across complex programs in factory, data center and semiconductor environments.

The role requires 3+ years in planning roles, strong English communication, and hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ relevant experience in planning and scheduling roles.
• Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
• Experience delivering complex construction projects in data center, factory or semiconductor fields is a plus.
• Experience developing, managing, and analysing Level 5+ schedules.
• Experience using Primavera P6 and MSP.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of project schedules and plans aligned with client objectives and milestones.
• Develop and maintain relationships with team members and client stakeholders through clear communication.
• Review and analyse project data from multiple sources for reporting and forecasting.
• Prepare deliverables for client submissions, including schedule updates and analyses.
• Apply industry best practice planning and scheduling methodologies to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare, maintain and analyse complex schedules using Primavera P6, with clear outputs for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective coordination of information.
• Provide timely updates to senior team members to support progress discussions.
• Contribute to process improvements and value-add opportunities in planning and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in documents and deliverables.

About the Opportunity

As our Consultant, specialising in Planning & Scheduling, you’ll be based full-time onsite at our client’s location in Malaysia, Johor Bahru, working closely with both the client and TBH teams. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, contributing to the development, management, analysis and execution of detailed project plans and schedules across a range of complex programs. With your demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling, you’ll bring strong communication skills to support the delivery of complex construction projects within factory, data centre and semiconductor assembly fields, providing exposure to technically driven projects and complex delivery environments.

You’ll work closely with TBH colleagues and client-side stakeholders to support the development, monitoring and reporting of project schedules, helping to maintain alignment with delivery milestones and program objectives. This role will provide exposure to both the technical and operational aspects of planning and scheduling, with opportunities to further develop your expertise across a broad range of responsibilities.

You’ll also be responsible for:

• Supporting the development and maintenance of project schedules and plans, contributing to the delivery of assigned projects in alignment with client objectives and project milestones.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with team members and client stakeholders through professional, clear and consistent communication.
• Reviewing, interpreting and analysing project data from multiple sources to support reporting, forecasting and project monitoring.
• Assisting in the preparation of deliverables for client submissions, including schedule updates, analysis, reports and other project outputs.
• Applying industry best practice planning and scheduling methodologies to help identify and address project risks, constraints and opportunities.
• Preparing, maintaining and analysing complex schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6, supported by clear reporting outputs tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support effective coordination and alignment of project information.
• Providing timely and accurate updates to senior team members to support progress reporting and project discussions.
• Contributing to process improvements and value-add opportunities that enhance efficiency in planning and reporting.
• Demonstrating accuracy and quality in the preparation of documents and deliverables, ensuring all work meets required standards.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of project schedules, including baseline creation, progress updates and performance analysis.

What you’ll bring

As our successful candidate you'll bring:

• 3+ years’ relevant experience in planning and scheduling role(s).
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills (English; oral and written).
• Experience in the delivery of complex construction projects in the data center, factor or semiconductor fields (Highly regarded)
• Proven experience developing, managing, and analysing detailed Level 5+ schedules.
• Demonstrated experience using planning software including Primavera P6 and MSP.
• A developed understanding of project management methods and applications; as well as project controls principles
• Demonstrated confidence and ability to work independently, taking initiative and ownership of tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and identify practical solutions.
