Job summary

Tunglip Precision Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a production planning professional to manage planning and expediting of materials while maintaining strict inventory control. You will liaise with customers and production to ensure on-time delivery and optimal use of production resources.

The role involves forecasting, vendor management, and data preparation for reports and sales forecasts, with opportunities for process improvement and team training.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and materials expediting.
• Ability to coordinate with customers and production to meet delivery requirements.
• Familiarity with inventory control and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Plan production activities to fully utilize the production facilities.
• Liaise with customers for delivery requirements and closely with production to meet customer satisfaction.
• Review delivery schedule and ensure that production output can meet delivery schedule.
• Ensure all necessary materials are outsourced and adequate before running production.
• Responsible for issuing requisitions or purchase orders for all raw material purchases.
• Monitor delivery performance of vendors’ materials and parts.
• Continue improvement in efficiency of production planning.
• Responsible for material inventory planning and forecasting and planning.
• Prepare all operations related reports and analyze all aspects of the supply chain team.
• Responsible for new product development and improvement in all existing products and ensuring forecasts teams' optimal inventory level.
• Facilitate and provide data to prepare all sales forecasts and implement all new products and processes.
• Participate in all evaluation meetings weekly and monthly; train subordinates of the planning team in various systems.

Responsible for production planning analysis as well as expediting incoming materials and inventory control

Liaise with customers for delivery requirements and closely with production to meet customer satisfaction

Plan production activities to fully utilize the production facilities

Responsible for issuing requisitions or PO for all purchases of raw material suppliers Issue material requisition for material purchase

Monitor delivery performance of vendor 's materials and parts

Responsible for Material Inventory Planning and executing all forecasting and planning of Production

Prepare all operations related Reports Process requirements and analyze all working of the supply chain team

Responsible for all new product development and improvement in all existing products and ensuring forecasts teams' optimal inventory level

Facilitate and provide data to prepare all sales forecast and implement all new products and processes

Participate in all evaluation meetings on weekly and monthly basis Train all subordinates of all planning team in various system
