The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Operations Management, has at least 2 years in manufacturing, and demonstrates strong data analytics, coordination, and communication skills. You will work closely with production, procurement, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedule incoming orders based on forecasts, customer orders, and production capacity.
• Develop and maintain production schedules according to demand and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the Operation Engineer to determine order requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as priorities or materials change.
• Ensure production activities meet delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Monitor production performance and prepare reports for the Operation Engineer.
• Follow up with relevant departments to ensure schedules are achieved.

We are seeking a Production Planner to join our team at T.F. METAL INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD., based in Menglembu, Bukit Merah, Perak. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure orders are completed on time and production runs smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Schedule incoming orders based on marketing forecasts, customer orders, and production capability.
• Develop and maintain production schedules according to demand and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the Operation Engineer to determine customer order requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when there are changes in priorities, material availability, or unexpected issues.
• Ensure production activities are completed on time to meet delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production performance and prepare reports for the Operation Engineer.
• Follow up closely with the relevant departments to ensure production schedules are achieved.
