Job summary

AAC Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Engineer to join its semiconductor manufacturing team in Senai, Johor. You will drive production efficiency, output, yield and cost improvement while collaborating with Process, Equipment and Quality teams to optimize operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing and at least 2 years of experience in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing, with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production operations and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in yield improvement, KPI management and continuous improvement.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production and achieve output, quality and productivity targets.
• Identify production bottlenecks and drive yield, efficiency and cost improvements.
• Optimize manpower, equipment and material utilization.
• Troubleshoot production issues with Process, Equipment and Quality teams.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Train and develop production operators and monitor team performance.
• Support customer audits and ensure production compliance.
