Job summary

Bondit E&C Sdn. Bhd. is seeking personnel to support pipe installation projects in Malaysia.

The role involves coordinating with the Site Supervisor and project team to ensure timely completion of Ranhill pipe installation works while adhering to safety and quality standards. Candidates should hold a SPAN certificate and have proven experience in installing sewerage systems and main water supply pipelines. Qualifications

• SPAN certificate is required.
• Experience in installing sewerage systems and water pipelines is required.
• Experience in pipe laying or pipe installation works is required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Site Supervisor and project team to complete Ranhill pipe installation works on time and to spec.
• Report issues related to pipe installation, trench conditions, alignment, level, gradient, pipe condition, or other site matters to the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain, use, and care for tools, equipment, and machinery used for pipe installation works.
• Assist with installation of related pipe fittings, connections, chambers, valves, and other works as required.
• Carry out pipe jointing, including installation of gaskets and couplings with approved materials.
• Assist in inspection and testing of installed pipes per project requirements.
• Inspect pipes before and during installation to ensure no cracks or defects.
• Position, lay, and install Ranhill pipes in trenches using appropriate methods and tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working area at all times.
• Perform any other duties related to Ranhill pipe installation and construction as assigned by Management or Site Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Site Supervisor, Project Manager, General Workers, and other site personnel to ensure the proper and timely completion of Ranhill pipe installation works.
• Report any issues relating to pipe installation, trench conditions, alignment, level, gradient, pipe condition, or other site matters to the Site Supervisor.
• Properly use, maintain, and take care of all tools, equipment, and machinery used for pipe installation works.
• Assist with the installation of related pipe fittings, connections, chambers, valves, and other associated works where required.
• Carry out pipe jointing works, including the proper installation of gaskets, couplings, and other approved jointing materials.
• Assist in carrying out inspection and testing of installed pipes in accordance with project requirements.
• Inspect pipes before and during installation to ensure they are free from cracks, damage, or other defects.
• Position, lay, and install Ranhill pipes in trenches using appropriate tools, equipment, and approved installation method.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area all times.
• Perform any other duties related to Ranhill pipe installation and construction works as assigned by the Management or Site Supervisor.

Requirements

• Possess a SPAN certificate
• Experience in installing sewerage systems and main water supply pipelines.
• Must have relevant experience in pipe laying or pipe installation works.
• Able to work overtime when required by the project.
