Job summary

BizLink Group is seeking an Assistant Process Engineering Manager to support the Process Engineering Manager in optimizing manufacturing processes through Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

You will lead engineering teams, drive process improvements, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with Quality, Production, and Molding to enhance productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Familiar with PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis tools.
• Skilled in process flow, line balancing, cycle time analysis, and work standardization.
• Experience with CAD software and process simulation.
• Good leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordinating, and supervising process engineering activities.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce cost/waste.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other CI initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Molding teams on process development.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, FMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
• Monitor KPIs (Cycle Time, Yield, OEE) and report process performance.
• Support in capacity planning, equipment layout, and manpower arrangement.
• Assist in overseeing and improving production processes through Lean practices.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Master: Electronic & Electrical/RoboticEngineering Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent, and demonstrated 5 years of experience in process engineering or a manufacturing environment. Prior involvement in large-scale process improvement or automation projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering design documents: ie., schematics, drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Familiar with PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
• Skilled in process flow, line balancing, cycle time analysis, and work standardization.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.
• Good leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally and handle multiple projects.
