Job summary

BIZLINK INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY ( INDIA ) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Assistant Process Engineering Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising process engineering activities in a manufacturing environment.

You will analyze and improve processes to boost productivity, lead root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives. Strong CAD and analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Electronic & Electrical, Robotic Engineering Technology or Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related discipline; 5+ years in process engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Skilled with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising process engineering activities.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce cost/waste.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Molding teams on process development.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, FMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
• Monitor KPIs (Cycle Time, Yield, OEE) and report process performance.
• Support capacity planning, equipment layout, and manpower arrangement.
• Lead engineering teams and ensure process efficiency, quality, and safety.

• Monitor KPIs (Cycle Time, Yield, OEE, etc.) and report process performance.
• Support in capacity planning, equipment layout, and manpower arrangement.
• The Assistant Process Engineering Manager supports the Process Engineering Manager in overseeing and improving production processes.
• Leading engineering teams, implementing lean manufacturing practices, and ensuring process efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Degree/Master: Electronic & Electrical/RoboticEngineering Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent, and demonstrated 5 years of experience in process engineering or a manufacturing environment. Prior involvement in large-scale process improvement or automation projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering design documents: ie., schematics, drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Familiar with PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
• Skilled in process flow, line balancing, cycle time analysis, and work standardization.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.
• Good leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally and handle multiple projects.
