Job summary

BizLink Group in Malaysia is seeking a PIE Staff Engineer to lead optimization of manufacturing workflows, driving Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and resolving production challenges. You will establish scalable processes for new product introductions and lead process development, design, and optimization to improve cycle time, yield, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Electronic & Electrical/Robotics Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment, with large-scale improvement or automation exposure.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise; able to interpret engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, improvement, and standardization projects.
• Design and optimize workflows to improve cycle time, yield, and efficiency.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead equipment selection, process validation, and production scaling activities.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) with robust process setup and qualification.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans).
• Train and mentor junior engineers and production teams.
• Collaborate with Quality, Molding, Maintenance, and Production for integrated process solutions.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as OEE, downtime, scrap rate, and throughput.

As a PIE Staff Engineer, you will lead the optimization of our manufacturing workflows, responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma, resolving critical production challenges, and establishing scalable processes for new product introductions.

• Lead process development, improvement, and standardization projects.
• Design and optimize workflows to improve cycle time, yield, and efficiency.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead equipment selection, process validation, and production scaling activities.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) with robust process setup and qualification.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans).
• Train and mentor junior engineers and production teams.
• Collaborate with Quality, Molding, Maintenance, and Production for integrated process solutions.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Master: Electronic & Electrical/RoboticEngineering Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent, and demonstrated 5 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment. Prior involvement in large-scale process improvement or automation projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering design documents: ie., schematics, drawings.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Skilled in process troubleshooting, DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, or high-volume manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency in PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and quality systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Minitab, and statistical/data analysis tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership.
