Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Training and Development professional to support the head of Learning and Organizational Development in creating a comprehensive training plan for the sales team and managers within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities include conducting orientation, on-the-job training, and needs assessments, with a focus on improving selling skills, SOP adherence, and leadership competencies across local and international markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Economics/Business/Marketing.
• 3–5 years sales experience in pharmaceutical products.
• 3 years experience in Training and Development.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of SOPs, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop training development plans for the sales team and managers to raise professionalism within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
• Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on production processes and changes.
• Plan and develop annual training plan within budget for all levels of employees.
• Design and implement functional/technical training to raise selling skills and sales competencies.
• Ensure employees are knowledgeable on relevant tasks within their department and provide various training methods.
• Monitor and review training effectiveness for continuous improvement.
• Support management in succession planning and provide competencies development programs.
• Implement SOPs and tools for the field force to improve Sales Force Effectiveness.
• Champion team-building activities to enhance belonging and team spirit.
• Secondary: International Markets—train Key Managers for international rollout and assist BD Managers.
