Job summary

White Heron Pharmaceutical seeks a proactive Purchasing cum Logistics professional to manage supplier sourcing, procurement, and logistics coordination in Malaysia. The role involves handling purchase orders, supplier panels, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining GMP/ISO-aligned records.

The candidate should have a Diploma/degree in Purchasing or Logistics, with at least 1 year of experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers of goods, materials and services.
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and schedules.
• Maintain panel of suppliers with backups for essential materials.
• Track purchase orders and input order details into internal systems.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships and communications.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues.
• Interface between suppliers and internal departments on purchasing processes.
• Arrange overseas and local shipments with forwarders/exporters.
• Coordinate with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt.
