Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a reliable Personal Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for the employer to work, meetings, events, and other destinations, with careful route planning in the Klang Valley.

You will maintain confidentiality, keep the vehicle clean and serviced, perform basic checks, and assist with errands. Flex hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class D driving license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of Klang Valley roads, routes and traffic conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relation to employer matters.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Job description

Provide safe and timely transportation for the employer to and from work, business meetings, company events, airport transfers, official functions, personal appointments and other destinations as required.

Plan and manage travel routes efficiently, taking into consideration traffic conditions, road closures, weather conditions and the employer's schedule to ensure timely arrival at destinations.

Comply with all applicable road traffic laws, regulations and safety requirements, and ensure the safety and comfort of the employer and other passengers at all times.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer's schedule, movements, personal information, business affairs and any other confidential matters encountered in the course of duty.

Ensure that the assigned company vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, properly-fueled and in good operating condition at all times.

Conduct basic checks of the vehicle, including fuel level, tyres, lights and other essential functions, and promptly report any damages, defects, abnormalities or maintenance requirements to the person-in-charge.

Arrange and coordinate regular servicing, maintenance and inspection according to the required schedule.

Assist with running errands, collection and delivery of documents or items, and other personal or work-related tasks as requested by the employer.

Requirements

Possess a valid Class D driving license with a clean driving record.

Minimum 3-5 years of professional driving experience, preferably as a Personal Driver, Family Driver, Executive Driver or Despatch Driver.

Possess excellent knowledge of Klang Valley roads, routes and traffic conditions, with the ability to plan efficient routes and use GPS/navigation applications.

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with a courteous and professional attitude.

Able to maintain strict discretion and confidentiality in relation to the employer's personal, family and business matters.

Demonstrate a reliable, punctual, responsible and safety-conscious approach to work.

Possess basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical awareness.

Willing and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, where required to accommodate the employer's schedule.
