Job summary

McDonald's Malaysia- Gerbang Alaf Restaurants Sdn Bhd is seeking a professional personal driver to transport the Managing Director safely, punctually, and discreetly to offices, meetings, and events.

This role requires route planning, GPS navigation, vehicle maintenance, confidentiality, flexibility for early/late hours, and prior VIP experience.

Must hold a valid Malaysian driving licence and have at least three years of trustworthy service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Malaysian driving license with a clean record.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a personal driver for senior management.
• Familiar with Klang Valley routes and GPS navigation.
• Must be punctual, discreet and trustworthy with high discipline.
• Flexible to work beyond normal hours and on holidays as required.
• Experience serving senior management/VIP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, confidential transportation for the Managing Director to office, meetings and events.
• Plan routes and monitor traffic to ensure timely arrivals.
• Keep vehicle clean, fueled, maintained and safe at all times.
• Perform regular vehicle checks and coordinate servicing as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding MD's matters and company information.
• Demonstrate professional appearance and manners at all times.
• Assist with light administrative tasks when not driving.
• Support the office with basic tasks as directed by management.

Job description

To provide safe, reliable, punctual and professional transportation for the Managing Director while always maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

Provide safe and professional transportation for the Managing Director to and from the office, meetings, appointments and other business or personal engagement as required.

Plan routes and monitor traffic conditions to ensure timely arrival.

Maintain punctuality and be flexible with working schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends or public holidays when required.

Ensure the vehicle is clean, well maintained, always fuelled and in good condition.

Conduct regular checks on vehicle conditions.

Ensure the safety and security of the MD during transportation.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the MD's personal matters, business activities, schedules, meeting and company information.

Demonstrate good manners, discretion and a professional appearance at all times.

Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks when driving duties are not required.

Support the office with basic administrative tasks as assigned by management.

About you

Possess a valid Malaysian driving license with a good driving record.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a personal driver.

Familiar with Klang Valley routes and able to navigate using GPS/Waze.

Punctual, responsible, trustworthy and highly disciplined.

Flexible to work beyond normal working hours when required.

Previous experience serving senior management/VIP.
