Job summary

Vantris Energy | Drilling is seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Analyst to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness and governance of supply chain operations in Malaysia. The role identifies risks, gaps, non-compliance, and opportunities for improvement to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and contracts.

You will analyze data, prepare dashboards, and communicate findings to management, while supporting audits across procurement, inventory, and logistics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory control, audit, or compliance.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes, internal controls, and risk management.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and audit reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Reporting: analyse supply chain data and KPIs; prepare dashboards and reports.
• Communication and Collaboration: present performance results and improvement recommendations to management.
• Audits and Compliance: coordinate audits, manage NCRs and CAPA until closure; review procurement and inventory controls.

Job description

The post holder is responsible for evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness, efficiency, compliance, and control of supply chain operations. The role identifies operational risks, process gaps, non-compliance, and opportunities for improvement to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyse supply chain data and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and maintain supply chain dashboards and reports.
• Monitor KPI achievement and identify performance gaps and non-compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, efficiency, and compliance.
• Work with relevant managers to address non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and updating supply chain procedures and SOPs.

3. Communication and Collaboration

• Work with internal departments and external stakeholders to improve supply chain coordination.
• Communicate performance results, audit findings, and improvement recommendations to management.
• Follow up on outstanding issues and agreed action plans.

4. Audits and Compliance

• Coordinate internal and external audits related to supply chain activities and reports.
• Manage NCRs and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until effective closure.
• Conduct audits of procurement, purchasing, inventory, contracts, logistics, and supply chain systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.
• Review supply chain records, processes, and controls to identify risks and improvement areas.

5. Procurement Governance

• Review procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, tenders, and supplier selection.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval limits, and authorization procedures.
• Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance.
• Identify procurement risks, irregularities, fraud risks, conflicts of interest, and unauthorized purchases.

Qualification and Relevant experiences:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory control, audit, or compliance.
• Experience in conducting audits is an advantage.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes, internal controls, and risk management.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and audit reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
